MERGE Boston is looking for a detail-oriented, dynamic, forward-thinking Analytics Intern for our paid summer internship program.

You should be:


  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student with a focus/major in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or Communications, Advertising, Marketing or have taken similar coursework

  • Or, a recent college graduate

  • You must be eligible to work in the United States to be considered for this role


What you’ll do:

 Each intern will be assigned a manager who will oversee your projects and growth path, as well as provide ongoing feedback and a final review. In addition to projects assigned by your manager, all interns will own a pro-bono marketing project, and you will complete it as a team over the duration of your internship. Upon completion, your team will present the work to both the agency and the client.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Learn/be trained on Google Analytics

  • Maintain API data connections for dashboard

  • Preform analysis on in market campaigns

  • Work on client-facing reports

  • Maintain measurement plans

Duration: 9 weeks between June 11 -August 10, 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday)

  • Responsible for creating relationships with senior clients to facilitate the overall needs of the client and agency

We currently seek a Data Analyst to support performance reporting and analysis for various client engagements, including traditional, digital, and social media programs. The goal is to maximize our clients’ return on marketing investment through ongoing program measurement, disciplined in-market testing, and results-based performance management.

Responsibilities

Core functional responsibilities include:


  • Development of measurement plans outlining project objectives, measurement framework, data sources, and reporting frequency

  • Establishing data feeds from multiple sources into our business intelligence platform to allow for meaningful and timely reporting
